What additional charges can I expect?

EFT will charge an enrolment fee which varies depending on course. The APP™ modular courses are $ 250.00 and FastTrack™ to jet enrolment fee is $500.00. You do not have to pay this money upfront. We charge this fee to cover administrative costs and visa application fees. The higher adminsitratrive burden of APP™ and FastTrack™ courses is reflected in higher enrolment fees. Flight tests carried out by EFT's in-house examiners are charged at $300, flight tests carried out by CAA examiners are charged at the CAA's current rate. Written exams for the PPL are $30 each.

When do I need to pay this money?

You can either choose to "pay-as-you-go" or pay upfront - whichever method you prefer. Many people are apprehensive about paying upfront for flight training due to several 'black sheep' in the training industry with whom others made bad experiences. However, if you are prepared to pre-pay your training, we will reward your commitment with comparatively lower training costs. The above, discounted package prices are applicable if you pre-pay your training. If you choose to pay as you go, you will be charged the regular aircraft hire rates below. A one-time deposit (which will go towards your training) is required to reserve your course. This money is refundable if you decide to cancel your course reservation, provided you give us at least 60 days notice.
